The organ donation poster presentation was held at G T Hospital, Marine Lines, Mumbai, on August 4, 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about organ donation among hospital staff, patients, and visitors, and to encourage individuals to register as organ donors.
A total of 15 posters were presented by the nursing staff, covering various topics such as the importance of organ donation, the organ donation process, myths and facts about organ donation, and personal stories from organ donors and recipients.
Approximately 72 participant present there during competition 44 attendees expressed interest in registering as organ donors. The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the informative and engaging nature of the posters. The event significantly increased awareness about organ donation among hospital staff and visitors.
Overall, the organ donation poster presentation was a successful initiative that not only raised awareness but also encouraged more people to consider organ donation. We hope to continue this effort and make a significant impact on organ donation rates in the future.
