Miss Karina Kadu organized an Eye Donation Awareness Session on June 24, 2026 at Patangshaha Kutir Hospital in Jawhar. The objective of the session was to enlighten participants about the significance of eye donation, the donation process, and how donated corneas can help restore vision for individuals with corneal blindness. Additionally, common myths and misconceptions surrounding eye donation were clarified, and attendees were encouraged to discuss the topic with their families and consider pledging their eyes.
A total of 48 individuals participated in the awareness session. They actively participated in discussions, posed questions, and enhanced their understanding of the importance of eye donation. The session concluded with an engaging dialogue, emphasizing the crucial role participants play in spreading awareness about eye donation within their community.
