On June 23, 2025, an awareness on Health and Sanitation was organized for the students of Evening Tuition Centre, supported by ARUWYE at Chintadripet, Chennai. On this occasion MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to create awareness on Organ Health.
Mr. Ganesh C, Senior Project Executive, MOHAN Foundation engaged the students and explained about functions of organs, maintaining healthy life, causes of organ failure and presented organ donation as a solution. He also informed the students of the schemes of state government that support organ transplantation, and importance of organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100.
32 students of the age group 14 to 16 years participated and all of them were presented with a sanitation kit and information brochures on organ donation. MOHAN Foundation thanks ARUWYE for the opportunity.
