On 22nd July 2022, Ms. Prarthana conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the members of Blood Lab Care Center at Hanuman Mandir Hall, Gurudeo Nagar, Nagpur. Dr. Sadanand Mehra - Director of Blood Lab Care Center, organized this programme. Close to 78 members participated in the session.
Ms. Prarthana was the key resource. She began the session with an introduction about MOHAN Foundation. This was followed by an elaborate talk on the concepts of organ donation with explanation on who, what and why organ donation is needed,
Lastly, a demo on how to pledge our organs through MOHAN Foundation website was shown.
Questions asked after the session were as follows:
The session inspired and motivated 54 participants to pledge their organs. The participants and organizers appreciated Ms. Prarthana for her noble work on organ donation.
We thank Dr. Sadanand for inviting us and supporting the cause of organ donation.
