On August 17, 2025, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, an Organ Donation Ambassador from the MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a Blood Donation Camp organized by the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Youth Group, Arambol, along with Caring Souls Goa, in collaboration with the North Goa District Hospital. The camp was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The venue was the St. Joseph Vaz Multipurpose Hall, where parishioners had been informed in advance by the parish pastoral council and other church groups. Around 45 individuals attended the camp, of whom 36 were eligible to donate blood, while 9 were not.
During the event, Mr. Gabriel distributed about 50 flyers containing frequently asked questions on organ donation and engaged with parishioners about its importance, encouraging them to pledge their support.
