On 17th September 2021, MFJCF was invited to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation by the Jaipur Chapter of Young India Foundation.
Young India celebrated Climate Action Week from 12-19th September, during which they launched the Water Conservation Campaign on 17th September. Young India has a vertical called ‘Gift an Organ’ through which they encourage and motivate people to be organ donors. They invited MFJCF team to create awareness regarding organ donation among their members during the campaign launch event.
Everyone gathered at the Angdata Smarak on the morning of 17th September. Mrs Renu Uba gave a talk on organ donation and its importance. Belonging to a donor family herself, she was able to touch the heart of YI Members. After the talk everyone moved towards Central Park, where a fitness session was organized.
After the fitness session, YI launched their water conservation campaign. Towards the end, the YI members were asked questions related to organ donation and I Support Organ Donation t-shirts were given to those who answered correctly.
A total of 15 members of YI attended the session out of which 10 people signed up as organ donors. MFJCF thanks YI for inviting us to conduct the talk.
