MOHAN Foundation-Coimbatore conducted an Organ Donation Awareness Program on 21st January 2012 for the teachers and staff of Sindhi Vidhyalaya Matriculation School. Mr. Pratap Gokuldas and Mr. Arun Gokuldas spoke on the importance of eye donation and blood donation respectively. This was followed by Mr. Christopher’s talk on Organ Donation and Transplantation. MOHAN Foundation Brochures and Donor Cards were distributed. Nearly sixty persons participated and almost everybody pledged their organs by taking a Donor Card. Mrs. Gowri, Principal, thanked the speakers and said the message of Organ Donation would be passed on to every student in their school. She wished MOHAN Foundation all success in spearheading the deceased Organ Donation program here in India.
