Mr. Mahender, Computer Operator at the Transmission Corporation of Telangana State (TRANSCO) office in Khairatabad, requested MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness session on organ donation at his workplace.
On 10th December 2021, Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation addressed the staff of the TRANSCO. He explained the concept of brain death, importance of the organ donation, eye donation, whole body donation and myths involved in organ donation.
Around 20 employees attended the session. Donor cards and brochures were distributed at the end of the session. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to Mr. Mahender for organising the event.
