On 16th December, Dr. Bhanu Prakash of Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation delivered an awareness talk to 5 students of G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences, an engineering college in Shikpet, who visited the Foundation’s office.
Dr. Prakash explained the concept of brain death, importance of organ donation, THO Act 1994, registering for a transplantation, eye and whole body donation, myths involved in organ donation and MOHAN Foundation’s activities.
All the students pledged to donate their organs, and also took 100 donor cards to distribute in the college.
