The students of the Department of Social work from S.D.N.B Vaishnav College conducted a State Level Study Conference & Cultural Meet – SPARK (Ignite a Connection) on 3rd February 2012.
As part of the Conference, an Organ Donation Awareness Stall was set up to create awareness on Organ Donation to the participants of the conference. Students from various colleges across the city and also from Trichy and Madurai were sensitized on the concept of Organ Donation.
Over 90 students, NCC Cadets and few people from the media pledged for Donor Card and promised to take the cause of Organ Donation forward.
