On 25th December 2021, MFJCF was invited to put up an organ donation awareness stall at Mahavir Jain School, Jaipur during an annual alumni meet celebration. On this occasion more than 200 former students came together for the celebration.
While visiting the stall the people asked the following questions:
1. How can one become a donor?
2. Is family consent necessary at the time of donation?
3. Whom to contact in case someone wants to donate the organs?
4. For how long can the organs be stored before donation?
All the questions were satisfactorily answered by Mr. Govind Gurbani, Mrs. Amla Batra and Mr. Deepak Tatia of MFJCF. During the event, MFJCF team was also called up on the stage to talk about organ donation.
The organ donation stall was visited by more than 150 people, out of which 100 people signed up as organ donors. MFJCF is thankful to Mahavir School Samiti for providing the opportunity.
