On 19 August, 2025 – Despite initial delays caused by torrential rain, an organ donation awareness session at Government Degree College, Ibrahimpatnam, was a great success. Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela from the MOHAN Foundation delivered an engaging PowerPoint presentation to over 100 students and faculty members from various degree programs. The session was strategically managed to ensure minimal disruption to the college's academic schedule.
The program was well-received by the college administration, with Principal Dr. S. Radhika and Vice Principal Dr. Suresh acknowledging and appreciating the MOHAN Foundation's dedicated efforts.
The session successfully covered essential aspects of organ donation, including the critical distinction between brain death and cardiac arrest, the significance of the donor card, and the urgent need for organ donation in society.
The event concluded on a high note, with enthusiastic participants, including both students and faculty, pledging to donate their organs, demonstrating their commitment to this life-saving cause. The program successfully fostered a greater understanding and positive attitude towards organ donation within the college community.
