Organ Donation Awareness Program Inspires Pledges at ZPHS, Nandi Vanaparthi

  • On 03rd September, 2025 - A recent organ donation awareness session at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Nandi Vanaparthi, proved to be a resounding success, culminating in strong support and pledges from both students and staff.

    The session was delivered by Mr. Venkatesh Kattela, Project Manager from the Mohan Foundation, who engaged over 150 students and faculty members from grades 9 and 10 with a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation. The talk was strategically held to ensure minimal disruption to the school's regular academic schedule.

    The highly interactive session meticulously covered essential aspects of organ donation, including:

    • The life-saving importance of organ donation and addressing the urgent need in society.
    • The critical distinction between brain death and cardiac arrest.
    • The consent process involved in donation and the significance of carrying a donor card.
    • Dispelling common myths and misconceptions surrounding the cause.
