Actavis Pharma Ltd., Chennai – one of the leading pharmaceutical companies invited MOHAN Foundation for an awareness programme on “ORGAN DONATION” on 17.04.2010.
The presentation was done by Ms. Veena, the Transplant Coordinator. About 50 employees took part in the programme. They came up with many queries at the end of the session, for instance, organ allocation to needy patients, confidentiality, the role of the media, the cost involved, the success rate of organ transplantation and about helping with contributions to the donor families. 39 participants came forward and pledged for organ donation.
