On August 13, 2025, an organ donation awareness campaign and medical health check up camp was organized by Apollo hospital in association with MOHAN Foundation at Nexus Mall, Seawoods. The campaign aimed at creating awareness about organ donation among the common public visting the mall. The programme was organized in two sections with a stall for creating awareness among visitors and a health check up camp conducted by the team of Apollo hospital. Total 72 visitors visited at the stall and also participated in the health check up camp. Health assessments like hypertension, Diabetes, Eyes screening, Body Mass Index , doctor consultation were included in the camp.
Mrs Rajeshree and Mr Paras Sodave (Facilitatator, Apollo hospital) coordinated over the stall. Mrs Rajeshree informed the visitors about MOHAN Foundation, Organ Donation and Pledge. She explained the work of MOHAN foundation, process of organ donation, how one can pledge to donate the organs, what can be donated in living and deceased organ donation. Around 12 visitors pledged to donate the organs.
The visitors were given flyers of MOHAN Foundation by Mrs. Rajeshree. Visitors have also signed expressing their wish to donate the organs on the sign board displayed at the stall. The programme was also coordinated by Mr Anil Sahu and Mr. Prakash Wadkar, Apollo hospital. Visitors were informed about the programme through announcements at the mall. Housekeeping staff, store staff of Nexus Mall also participated in the programme.
The programme was well organized receiving visitors attention and participations in the awareness programme and health check up camp
