Online Awareness Session Conducted for GPIF Group

  • On May 16, 2026, MOHAN Foundation conducted an online awareness session on Organ and Tissue Donation for members of the GPIF Group. The session aimed to educate participants about the significance of organ and tissue donation and encourage informed discussions on the subject.

    The session was facilitated by Ms. Sakshi Kshirsagar, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation. She provided a comprehensive overview of organ and tissue donation, covering topics such as the need for donation, eligibility criteria, the donation and transplantation process, and the life-saving impact of organ donation on patients awaiting transplants. She also highlighted the importance of tissue donation in improving the quality of life for many individuals.

    An interactive discussion followed, during which Ms. Kshirsagar addressed several common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation. Her clear and informative explanations helped participants gain a better understanding of the process and reinforced the importance of making informed decisions regarding donation.

    The session witnessed active participation from 40 attendees, who engaged enthusiastically by asking questions and sharing their perspectives. The programme successfully increased awareness about organ and tissue donation and inspired participants to consider becoming advocates for the cause within their communities.
