St Joseph College of Arts and Science, Chennai – 1st year Social work students visited MOHAN Foundation for an observation visit as part of their field work curriculum. 20 students accompanied by two staff attended the session.
Transplant Coordinator Ms.Sujatha gave an introduction about MOHAN Foundation and the objectives. Transplant Coordinator Ms.Veena explained the basic concepts of organ donation, followed the experience in coordinating organ donation at Government General Hospital, Chennai and organ allocation, sharing and finally real case stories of donors were shared by the Transplant Coordinators.
All students including the staff pledged for organ donation.
