The first year Post Graduate Social work students of Mohamed Sathak College, Chennai, visited MOHAN Foundation for an observation visit as part of their field work curriculum. Ms. Jessi Saranya, Transplant coordinator, delivered the presentation on brain death, organ donation, and organ allocation. Mr.Kuruvilla, Marketing Manager, spoke to the students about the MOHAN Foundation-IGNOU Community College, which offered career enhancing courses like the Diploma programme in Transplant Coordinators’ Training & Grief Counselling. Mrs. Sujatha answered all the queries that were put forth by the students. The visit was concluded with an interactive session in which the students shared their ideas on organ donation and finally pledged to donate their organs by picking up the donor card.
