  Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation addressed a group of NCC students on 12^th November 2021 at the Science College in Tirora. Mr. Behera was invited by Mr. Narendra Singh, NCC Officer.

  Mr. Bulu Behera gave information about the following topics in his talk:

  • What is the difference between coma and brain death?
  • What is the difference between natural death and brain death?
  • Process of organ donation and age limit
  • Time factor in organ donation
  • Role of ZTCC in organ donation
  • Information about the Transplant Act 1994
  • Information about MOHAN Foundation
  • Importance of the donor card and helpline number

  Questions asked by the audience:

  • What is the time factor for tissue donation after natural death?
  • Who is head of the MOHAN Foundation?
  • What is the difference between coma and brain death?
  • How much would a liver transplant cost?
