The members of Akhil Vishva Gayatri Parivar - Gayatri Shaktipeeth had a get together on 14th December 2020, during which an online session on organ donation was organized. Dr. Ravi Wankhede of MOHAN Foundation was invited as the speaker by Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen.
Dr. Wankhede kicked off the session by playing a video that explained the concept of organ donation and brain death. He then went on to introduce MOHAN Foundation and its various activities.
Information about the concepts of organ donation, causes of brain death, body donation, eye donation, difference between coma and brain death, religion and organ donation, details of the helpline number and donor card was shared with the audience.
Around 80 members participated in the session. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to Gayatri Parivar members and other participants.
