Mr Prakash Bapat of Pune was invited to speak on "Organ Donation: Save a Life after Life'' at Jivahala Senior Citizen Club, Shephalika Society Kothrud, Pune. The session was held on Oct 12, 2023. 26 senior citizens (including a doctor) attended the one hour seminar.
Organ Donation Ambassador, Mr Bapat spoke on living and deceased donation, tissue and organ donation in the event of natural death & brain death and how to pledge organs. The last 10 minutes were a Q/A session. There was excellent feedback from the audience.
Many participants showed keen interest and forms were given to them to pledge the Organ Donation, they were asked to visit the MOHAN Foundation to complete the online registration.
