On July 1, 2019, Ms. Pallavi Kumar (Executive Director, MOHAN Foundation) was invited to speak at an event organized by Centre of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Max Hospital, Saket- “Life After Transplant- 10/10”, on the occasion of International Doctor’s Day, to celebrate a journey of trust and determination of those who are leading healthy lives even after 10 years of transplant.
At the event, Ms. Pallavi Kumar shared a few donor-recipient stories and motivated the audience to come forward and pledge their organs. She introduced MOHAN Foundation and the work it has been doing.
The event was attended by liver transplant recipients and donors, MOHAN Foundation staff members, senior doctors and board members of Max Hospital, Saket. The chief guest for the occasion was Ms. Chitrangada Singh, the renowned Indian film actress.
Overall, the event was a great initiative to celebrate life after organ transplants.
