To create awareness on the nobel cause of Organ Donation, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session in association with Tamil Nadu NCC Group ‘A’ on 28th May 2015 . The session was help in the open grounds of Rajagopal Polytechnic at Gudiyattam from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Dr. Hemal Kanvinde and Ms. Kavitha S from MOHAN Foundation, together educated the 600 strong group of cadets and 20 staff on the concepts of organ donation. The very active audience participated actively in the interactive session. After the talk a few competitions were held – like posters drawing, making green ribbons, and a quiz.
The prize distribution was done by Col. Suresh, Commanding Officer of Vellore Division. About 130 staff and cadets above the age of 18 picked up donor cards. Information brochures and stickers were distributed.
