On 7th January 2024 MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness programme on organ donation to the members of Vishant Chandra Group at Kamothe in Khanda Colony, Panvel in Navi Mumbai. This session was organized on the occasion of Foundation Day of his office. Ms.Prarthana Dwivedi was the speaker for the day. She then began her PPT presentation by introducing herself and MOHAN Foundation and its activities.
Thereafter, she touched upon the below topics-
1, Concept of organ donation and its types
2. Process of organ donation and transplantation
3. Myths and Facts about organ donation
4. Difference between tissues and organs
5. A video explaining brain stem death was displayed to the audience and theconcept of brain stem death was explained.
6. MOHAN Foundation’s helpline was shared with the audience.
The session was interactive and informative; Around 22 members participated in the event. The participants expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Prarthana and MOHAN Foundation for conducting a valuable session on organ donation to them.
