  On 03^rd November 2023 MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College for the degree students and staff of commerce department.       

  Mr. Ajith Devassya was the key speaker

  Mr. Ajith began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission and vision and proceeded to explain the following:

  • The concept of organ and tissue donation
  • The types of death i.e., circulatory death and brain death
  • Brain death declaration
  • Myths and facts related to organ donation
  • Green corridor
  • The role of Jeevasarthakathe
  • Transplant Law
  • Importance of a donor card 

  MOHAN Foundation conveys its gratitude to Mr. Anil Kumar HOD of Commerce department of MGM College Manipal, for choosing to support this life-saving cause.

  Around 182 staff and students attended the session and all the audience supported by taking the pledge for organ donation.
