On 13th December 2014, MOHAN Foundation Hyderabad was invited by Mr. Ramana, HR Manager, to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for the employees of Vasudha Pharma Chem at their corporate office.
Dr. Koti Reddy clearly explained the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of brain death, cultural and religious barriers, THO Act and myths related to organ donation.
There were about 50 employees that participated and were distributed donor cards and information brochures. The employees positively reacted to the idea and have promised to spread awareness about organ donation in community.
We thank Sri. M. V. Rama Raju, Chairman, for his kind support in organizing awareness sessions in all the good offices of Vasudha Pharma Chem and also the employees of Vasudha Pharma Chem for their support to this noble cause.
