MFJCF Conducts Organ Donation Awareness at an Airport Terminal in Jaipur

  On January 10, 2020 the Navjeevan team of MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) delivered an awareness talk on Organ Donation at the Airport Terminal 1 of Jaipur airport, Rajasthan.

  Mrs. Ranju and Mrs. Kamla Choudhary represented the MFJCF team. Around 40 people, led by Mr. Girish attended the session. In her talk, Mrs. Ranju explained the following:

  • Living and deceased organ donation
  • Coma and brain death
  • Donors – eligibility criteria
  • Organs that can be donated

  The following questions were raised by the participants:

  • Who can donate organs?
  • My friend is in need of an organ; how can you help him?
  • Who is responsible to declare a patient brain dead?

  After the session all participants signed up and took their donor cards and posed with the organ donation message boards and banners for photographs and promised to spread awareness among friends and family.
