MOHAN Foundation was invited by HR Department of Life Style showroom in Express Avenue, Chennai to create awareness and educate their employees about organ donation. The MOHAN Foundation representative Ms.Veena explained briefly about brain death, when can a person donate his organs, what are all the organs and tissues that can be donated after natural death and after brain death. Simple steps to be followed for eye donation explained and at the end she screened a movie which promotes organ donation.
Around 130 employees of lifestyle pledged for a donor card. The Human Resource Department decided to organize the same program for their employees of other branches in the upcoming week.
