On March 23, 2026, MOHAN Foundation’s Ravi Pawar conducted an eye donation awareness session at Prasad Hospital, Ganeshpuri for the general public. The session highlighted the importance of eye donation and its crucial role in restoring sight to individuals suffering from corneal blindness. Participants were guided on how corneal blindness occurs, the common causes behind it, and simple preventive steps that can help protect eye health.
The session also provided clarity on eligibility for eye donation, the legal procedures involved, and addressed several common myths that often discourage people from pledging. Ravi Pawar ensured that the discussion remained interactive, encouraging participants to ask questions and share their thoughts.
A total of approximately 68 people attended the program, showing keen interest and actively engaging throughout the session, which made it both informative and impactful. MOHAN Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Prasad Hospital, Ganeshpuri for their valuable support and cooperation in organizing this awareness initiative.
