On December 21, 2025, Trustee of MOHAN Foundation, a renowned transplant surgeon and organ donation pioneer Dr. Sunil Shroff was felicitated by leading Rajasthani community organisations for his outstanding contribution to healthcare and humanitarian service.
Dr. Shroff was honoured with the “Rajasthani Ratna” Award by the Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu, recognising his decades-long work in organ transplantation and deceased organ donation advocacy.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by senior jurists, community leaders, and social representatives. Addressing the gathering, former Chief Justice Justice M. Karpagavinayakam highlighted the importance of discipline, values, and service to society, describing Dr. Shroff’s life and work as an inspiration for the younger generation.
An alumnus of Patna Medical College Hospital, Dr. Shroff is the Founder and Managing Trustee of MOHAN Foundation, a national NGO that has been at the forefront of promoting ethical deceased organ donation in India for nearly three decades. His efforts have contributed significantly to saving lives through public awareness, professional training, and policy advocacy.
Several community organisations, including Agrawal Sabha, Agrawal Mahila Samiti, Agrawal Youth Association, Agrawal Mahila Mandal, and Junior Agrawal Mahila Mandal, extended their congratulations, expressing pride in his achievements.
