An awareness talk on organ donation was organized at the 10th anniversary celebration of K. V. S Foundation Private Limited, Chennai. They are into the business of promoting property and building construction. The event was held at Samuthaiya Koodam, Saligramam, Chennai on 21st July, 2013. Mr. K. V. Saravanan, Managing Director, K. V. S Foundation Private Limited invited the Cadaver Transplant Programme (CTP), Tamil Nadu to come make a presentation about organ donation at the occasion. Ms. Kavitha S, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation represented the CTP and educated the gathering about the concept of organ donation and about the importance of pledging their organs. Mr. K. V. Saravanan and his wife Mrs. Bindhu Saravanan pledged their organs at the event and in turn motivated their staff to do the same. There were nearly 300 participants at the event and 200 of them signed up for the donor card.
