An Organ Donation Awareness Session was held at Bhagvan Birsa Munda Industrial Training Institute on 20 May 2026, organized by Mr. Nikhil Nagarkar. The main aim of the session was to raise awareness about the significance of organ donation, its life-saving benefits, and the importance of promoting awareness within society.
Throughout the session, participants were educated on the importance of organ donation and any prevalent myths or misconceptions were clarified. Guidance was provided to help participants develop a positive attitude towards organ donation. Additionally, information about the MOHAN Foundation and the Mahadrishti project was shared with attendees. Mr. Nikhil Nagarkar elaborated on the concept of brain death and its critical role in the organ donation process, enhancing participants' understanding of the topic.
The event was attended by Miss Karina Kadu, Mr. Aniket Watgule, and Mr. Ravi Pawar, who provided valuable support for the successful execution of the session. A total of 112 participants actively engaged in the program, demonstrating their interest and commitment to the cause of organ donation.
