On April 18, 2026, SRDF – MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation for insurance agents of HDFC Life, Sector 43, Chandigarh.
Mrs. Sangeeta Jamwal, Head of Operations at SRDF-MF, opened the session by introducing MF SRDF, its mission, and vision. She emphasized organ donation as a “gift of life” and explained its importance in saving and improving lives.
Following this, Ms. Preeti Gupta led the session and covered key aspects of organ donation, including:
During the interactive discussion, employees raised several questions. A common confusion between post-mortem and organ donation was clarified, helping participants understand the distinction. Many employees also showed keen interest in the registration process, asking detailed questions about how to register with NOTTO. Their queries were addressed thoroughly, ensuring clarity and confidence in taking the next steps.
Around 20 insurance agents from the tricity attended the session and expressed encouragement to pledge for organ donation, thereby contributing to saving lives.
The collaboration between SRDF-MOHAN Foundation and HDFC Life highlights a shared commitment to safeguarding lives. As a leading life insurance provider, HDFC Life secures families against financial uncertainties, while organ donation represents another dimension of protecting and extending life. By hosting this awareness session, HDFC Life reinforced its role not only as a financial protector but also as a socially responsible organization that encourages employees to contribute to society’s well-being. This alignment between financial security and health awareness strengthens the holistic vision of “life protection” that both HDFC Life and organ donation embody.
MF SRDF extended heartfelt gratitude to HDFC Life for their support and for providing the opportunity to conduct this meaningful and impactful session.
