On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Mrs.Vijayalakshmi, Mrs.Sudharani and Mrs.Shivarani, members of Mahila mandali invited MOHAN Foundation to address the members of Mahila Mandali and enlighten them on organ donation on 8th March’2014.
The session was organized at Government high school, Vakkalagadda, Vijayawada.
Ms.Shanthi, MOHAN Foundation explained the ways of organ donation, concept of brain death, coma and Transplantation of Human Organ Act 1994.
Around 100 members attended the session. Donor cards and information brochures were distributed at the end of the session.
