On 17th November 2022, MFJCF was invited by Poornima College , Jaipur to conduct an awareness, talk on organ donation and transplantation.
Dr. Anita Hada , project director MFJCF conducted the talk , A total of 150 participants attended the talk alongwith Dean and faculty of public health. And around 70 participants pledged as an Organ Donor.
She talked about the following points:
ü What is organ donation and what are the types of donations?
ü Who can be a donor?
ü Experiences as a donor
ü Real-life stories of organ donors of Rajasthan
ü Organ pledging via Driving License
ü Myths about organ donation
Also, the National Organ Donation Helpline number, 1800 103 7100 was shared with the participants. Some of the participants picked up donor cards and pledge as an organ donor.
