MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Lakshmi Narayana, member of Vasavi Club International, to set up an organ donation awareness stall at the Vasavi Club International District Festival held at JRR Garden Function Hall in Sangareddy district, Telangana on 31st October 2021.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation explained the concept of brain death, organ donation, THO 1994 act, cornea and whole-body donation, and significance of donor card to the visitors.
The program lasted till the evening. The chief guests, Mr. Gampa Nageswarrao - Personal Motivator and Mr. Pulluri Prakash - District Governor of the program, appreciated MOHAN Foundation’s activities and also pledged to donate their organs.
Around 350 members visited the MOHAN Foundation stall, brochures were distributed and 250 donor cards were picked up.
