On May 14, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an insightful organ donation awareness session for Batch - 4 students at Ocean Dream Marine Training Institute, Belapur. Program conducted by Ms. Prarthana from MOHAN Foundation. A total of 21 students attended the session and actively participated in the discussion.
The session began with an introduction to the concept and importance of organ and tissue donation, followed by a detailed explanation of the various types of donations. Ms. Prarthana addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation and provided clear insights into the legal and medical procedures involved.
To make the session more relatable and impactful, she shared real-life stories of organ recipients and donor families, adding an emotional and inspiring dimension to the talk.
Additionally, she provided the MOHAN Foundation’s toll-free helpline number for further assistance and encouraged students to not only consider pledging for donation but also to act as advocates within their communities.
