  On 10^th August 2019, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation at Friends Forever Club in Kamal Chowk, Nagpur.

  Mrs. Jaya Suri invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness session about organ donation and transplantation. Ms Prarthana Dwivedi, Transplant Coordinator from the Foundation made a PPT resentation on the subject and covered the following points:

  • Concept of organ donation
  • Myths and facts about organ donation
  • Cardiac death and brain death

  Some questions that were asked:

  • Does it cost anything to donate organs?
  • Whom to contact when someone passes away at home?

  Ms Prarthana answered all the queries in detail. Mrs Jaya along with 15 friends attended the session and got all the vital information about organ donation. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the group for the opportunity.
