He also briefed about the organs that can be donated, the time factor regarding organ transplantation from a donor to a recipient, introduced the donor card, the helpline number and shared a few donor stories.

The talk was well received and attended by the staff of the bank. The following were a few questions that were asked:

    • Is organ donation legal?
    • What are the organs that could be donated?
    • How to register when in need of an organ?
    • Family’s involvement and consent in the donation process

Nine staff registered their names as organ donors and received their donor cards. MOHAN Foundation thanks Yes Bank for the opportunity.
