On November 3, 2025, MOHAN Foundation organized an awareness program on organ donation at Bijoykumar Girls Higher Secondary School, Krishnanagar, Agartala, West Tripura. The session was conducted for Class XI students as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness about organ donation and transplantation among students and the general public.
Ms. Nipa Modak, Program Executive, MOHAN Foundation (Tripura), conducted the session. She highlighted the significance of organ donation, explained the types of organ and tissue donations, and emphasized how one donor can save multiple lives. The session also addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation and encouraged students to become ambassadors for this noble cause.
The participants showed keen interest and engaged actively throughout the session. Teachers appreciated MOHAN Foundation’s initiative to educate the younger generation on the importance of organ donation.
The program concluded with a call to action, urging everyone to spread awareness and motivate others to pledge for organ donation, thereby fostering a culture of giving and saving lives.
A total of 57 students attended the session.
