Apollo Tyres Health Care Center includes organ donation in its women’s day health camp

• On 9^th March 2016 MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct organ donation awareness programme by Apollo Tyres Health Care Center, Manapakkam. The programme was started at 11.30am with the  welcome address given by Mr. G.Gnanasekar, PCO  Truckers  Association during his talk he appreciated MOHAN Foundation for their support and work towards the cause. Then Ms. Sunitha Transplant Coordinator MOHAN Foundation Chennai delivered a talk and Mr. Sathyamoorthi managed the information stall.

  During her talk she covered the following topics

  • MOHAN Foundation Activities 
  • Importance and need of organ donation
  • Types of donations – live and deceased donation
  • Importance of Donor card, helpline number and website. 

  Green ribbons and information brochures were distributed to all the 45 women to show their support to the cause. After the interaction the women underwent free health check up organised by Apollo Tyres Health Care Center for the benefit for the women Ms. Sunitha thanked the organising committee for inviting MOHAN Foundation and supporting the noble cause.
