The Rotary Club of Berhampur organised an talk on Organ Donation on Nov 27, 2022 to celebrateNational Organ Donation day. The Chief guest and speaker was Prof. Dr. J Sagar Prusty, Hod Department of Anatomy, M.K.C.G. Medical College, berhampur, Odisha.
Organ Donation Ambassadors and members of Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan were invited to this celebration. Nearly 100 people attended the awareness camp. Dr. Prusty spoke on organ donation, and body donation. He spoke of the value of the donation and the altruism of the family to set aside their grief and decide to donate. It was an emotional moment for the audience.
