An organ donation ambassador of MOHAN Foundation, Shubham, chose to organise online competitions in elocution and poster making to spread awareness about the cause. He approached a Chiplun based company, TWJ, for sponsorship for this event. He designed publicity posters for promotion of the competitions and used different social media platforms to spread them.
A total of 61 participants from all over Maharashtra participated in the competition held on 13th March 2021. The entries, themed on organ donation, were judged by Mr. Prasanna Karandikar - Head, The Social Reforms, Chiplun and Shubham Lad himself. The winners were Om Devkar from Guhaghar and Ram Bibavnekar from Kudal who won the first prize in elocution competition and poster making competition, respectively. The prize distribution was online; all the participants were acknowledged with a certificate of participation and winners with cash awards and certificates.
