A massive rally was organized by all Health Sciences Colleges in Nagpur on 2nd 2017 on the theme of Organ Donation. The rally started from Sri. Vasantrao Deshpande hall, Nagpur and ended at Law College Square, Nagpur.
Doctors, lecturers, professors, students participated on that rally. Approximately 2500 students and lecturers participated 102 science colleges.
Dr. Ravi Wankhede Director of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur center participated in the rally. Mr. Bulu Behera & Ms.Kanchan Shewde, Transplant coordinator distributed brochures to all participants and spoke to the students about organ donation. A stall also set up to give information regarding organ donation.
The medical science students raised slogans regarding Organ Donation. Marathi film director Mr Mahesh Manjekar was one among the dignitaries and he asked everyone to see the movie – “Phir Jindagi” to understand the nuances of organ donation.
4 students signed consent form & took the donor card.
