The Inner Wheel Club of Chennai Esplanade organized a fun fare “Hungama” on 27th February 2016 at Anita Methodist School, Vepery Chennai. MOHAN Foundation was invited to set an information desk. Mr. Prakash, Mr. Manikandan and Dr. Hemal Kanvinde of MOHAN Foundation took turns to man the stall.
Visitors to the stall were given information about organ donation – why, how and when along with an information brochures. Most of the queries were about age, waitlists and allocation. A few visitors had taken a donor card earlier and renewed their pledge at the counter. Frequent announcements about organ donation motivated thevisitors to come to the stall. 17 people registered as donors.
