A talk On Organ Donation and the Role of Police Personnel in the deceased organ donation program was given to police personnel on December 27, 2011 at office of Police Lines Commisionerate, Gurgaon. It was attended by 55 police personnel. The session was highly interactive and the attendees got very involved. A big discussion ensued and they even shared the kind of problems they face in getting the ‘panchnama’ written in case of an accident. All of them acknowledged the importance of this work and assured of their cooperation in the event of a deceased organ donation in a medico legal case. At the end of the session all of them pledged their organs.
