Roaring Riders host The Cause Travellers in Chennai during Monthly Meet

  • Roaring Riders Club, a Jawa-Yezdi bikers club comprised of enthusiastic young bikers who share a passion for riding and social causes, has always extended its support to the organ donation cause and collaborated with MOHAN Foundation in many occasions.

    On 2nd January 2022, during their first monthly meeting for the year, they hosted The Cause Travellers during their Chennai stop at the Ashoka Hotel in Egmore. Rotarian Mr. Bhal Shekhar Chillana and his wife Mrs. Namita, the special guests were accompanied by Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation for the event. Around 40 people were present during the occasion.

    The Cause Travellers are currently travelling across the country, by road, creating awareness about organ donation and aiming to collect a minimum of 80,000 organ donor pledges.

    The program was inaugurated by Mr. Srinivasan Kasyap, a member of Roaring Riders Club, who introduced the guests to the audience, and Ms. Uthra delivered the welcome address and gave an overview of the cause traveller’s mission. Mr. Ganesh briefly spoke about organ donation and explained the process to register as organ donor. Mr. Chilana spoke about his personal experiences, why the cause is close to his heart and why everyone should consider supporting the cause.  32 people signed up as organ donors and the program ended with cake cutting
