
MOHAN Foundation was invited to speak about organ donation to the outpatients of Super Specialty Hospital Nagpur, on 18th April 2017. Dr. Shrigiriwar arranged for a stall where MOHAN Foundation displayed information brochures, donor cards, standees and a banner. Mr. Bulu Behera & Ms. Kanchan Shewde Transplant coordinators managed the stall.

What can be donated after Brain Death, after Natural Death and while living.
How and where is waitlist of organ recipient
Who can donate organs and value of a donor card

40 patients & relatives visited the stall. After understanding about organ donation, 20 patients & relatives took consent form & 3 patients & relatives signed consent form and took donor card, other will sign consent form after discussing with their family.

1) Does MOHAN foundation provide a kidney to kidney failure patients?
2) Is Government is providing any financial support to organ failure patients.
3) One kidney is sufficient to kidney donor.
