On November 22, 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct the ‘Gift of Life’ Organ and Tissue Donation Sensitization Session for the nursing staff and administrative team at Aureus Institute of Medical Science, Nagpur.
Ms. Veena, Project Manager, led the session and delivered an insightful and comprehensive overview of the importance of organ and tissue donation. She emphasized the growing need for donors, explained the process of organ retrieval and transplantation, and addressed common myths and misconceptions associated with donation.
The session also highlighted the vital role of healthcare professionals in counselling families, ensuring transparency, and upholding ethical practices. Participants actively engaged in the discussion, asked relevant questions, and expressed their willingness to contribute to the cause.
