On 28th January 2025, MOHAN Foundation hosted a meeting of the Kilpauk Residents Society. 8 members came to the Chennai office to learn about organ and tissue donation.
Dr Hemal Kanvinde Q&A Officer addressed the members and shared her insights on the noble cause. With the help of presentations and short films all aspects of Organ Donation were explained. The films highlighted the emotional journey of a heart recipient and the great act of compassion that saved multiple lives through organ donation.
Post the talk, discussion was on body donation, skin donation and, allocation of organs and costs of transplants. 2 members picked a donor card.
The committee members thanked MOHAN Foundation for the opportunity to understand a difficult cause. MOHAN Foundation appreciates the assistance of Mrs Lalitha Naidu in getting the meeting together. and Worley for the support.
